Pt. Deepak Kshirsagar, a Top-Graded artist of Indian Classical Guitar was awarded the Mrignayani Sangeet Ratna Alankaran, by the Art & Culture Wing and Prayas Foundation Gwalior in 2009. The felicitation was followed by his performance in the Tansen Auditorium in Gwalior.
